U.S. Department of Commerce Invests $97,200 to Create Jobs, Strengthen Economy in Atlanta, Georgia

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Commerce Department's Economic Development Administration (EDA) today announced a $97,200 grant to Morehouse College of Atlanta, Ga., to develop a feasibility study on establishing a business incubator that would help the region capitalize on its bio-science and technology cluster.
"The Economic Development Administration is pleased to partner with Morehouse College to boost business development opportunities and job growth," said Sandra R. Walters, EDA Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administrative Officer. "This EDA grant will help the Atlanta region establish business incubator facilities that will grow and nurture the bio-science and technology-based businesses that create higher-skill, higher-wage job opportunities."
