Administración Biden-Harris Anuncia 22 finalistas del Programa Piloto Recompete (Volver a Competir)

WASHINGTON, DC — La Administración Biden-Harris, a través de la Administración de Desarrollo Económico (EDA) del Departamento de Comercio de los Estados Unidos, anunció hoy los 22 finalistas del Programa Piloto de Recompete (Volver a Competir) de Áreas en Dificultades. Recompete se dirige a los más afectados y económicamente más necesitados en áreas donde el empleo en la edad óptima (25-54 años) es significativamente menor que el promedio nacional, con el objetivo de cerrar esta brecha a través de inversiones flexibles impulsadas localmente. U.S. Commerce Department Announces $13.5 Million to Support U.S. Manufacturers

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced $13.5 million in U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) grants to support 11 Trade Adjustment Assistance Centers (TAACs) that help manufacturers affected by imports adjust to increasing global competition and to create jobs. The TAACs, which each service multiple states/regions, are located in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington.
