WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $21.5 million American Rescue Plan Good Jobs Challenge grant to the Foundation for California Community Colleges, Sacramento, California, to develop and launch California Resilient Careers in Forestry, a forestry workforce training program.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $23.7 million American Rescue Plan Good Jobs Challenge grant to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, North Carolina, to create STEPs4GROWTH, a clean energy workforce training program.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced grant awards to 32 industry-led workforce training partnerships across the country as part of the $500 million Good Jobs Challenge funded by President Biden’s American Rescue Plan.
