This EDA investment seeks to deepen Jumpstart’s support of healthcare startups in Ohio by leveraging 20 years of experience in delivering entrepreneurial services and investment through its activated network of national startup investors, industry partners, mentors, and entrepreneurs. 

Scaling O.H.I.O. will build upon JumpStart's intensive advisory offerings, bringing additional healthcare commercialization resources to the state, to expand and accelerate regional efforts to support healthtech startups via a hybrid virtual accelerator model. This focused program will scale proven entrepreneurial support for healthtech startups, with many use cases across target sectors. Scaling O.H.I.O. will pay specific attention to supporting startups that are solving unique problems around healthcare equity and are committed to growing their companies in Ohio to drive technology‐based economic development for the region.
