The University Center for Autonomous Systems Innovation (Center) builds upon its previous work to accelerate autonomous solution innovation by leveraging new strategic partners to address the talent pipeline needs of companies working with our ecosystem partners. Key activities for this University Center project include: (1) national outreach to showcase North Dakota as a proving ground for UAS technology development; (2) identification of intentional workplace learning and stackable credential pathways with academic partners and industry; (3) creation of an autonomous industry sector immersive media/ virtual reality (VR) industry career library; (4) development of a digital ‘storefront’ to increase connectivity and house the VR industry career library, and (5) commercialization technical assistance for autonomous technology innovators. This work positions North Dakota as a regional leader in autonomous systems technology innovation, nurtures economic diversification, and enables job creation.
