This initiative will bring together tribal recipients of EDA grant awards and economic development practitioners in indigenous communities to learn from each other and build capacity for funding and implementing economic development projects. The Community of Practice (CoP) will convene regular networking sessions, coordinate training and technical assistance opportunities for participants, and develop and share economic development best practices and resources.

This project also includes a research component to collect and analyze data on EDA tribal grantees to develop tools and resources to better understand and support economic development in tribal communities.

Audience: The CoP will include current EDA Indigenous Communities grantees, current and prior recipients of EDA grants in tribal communities, and tribal programs and enterprises supporting economic development.
