Esther Baldwin
Director of Innovation at Intel; Hillsboro, OR
Esther Baldwin hails from Liverpool, England. She recently completed her third assignment to the P.R.C. as Director of Innovation at Intel Semiconductor Dalian Ltd.. With over 20 years in industry she has held a number of technical and leadership roles including Director of Technical Training, Senior Innovation Scientist, Innovation Proliferation Manager and Technical Assistant for Andrew Chien, the former VP of Future Technologies Research in Intel Labs. She spent much of her career in start up’s including CAD software, ASIC, Intel® Online Services, and the global deployment of the Intel® IT Innovation Centers. While in the Information Technology, IT Innovation and Research team she co-authored the book "Managing IT Innovation for Business Value". Esther is an Eisenhower Fellow (www.efworld.org). She was the first US Eisenhower Fellow to Ireland and studied foreign direct investment and its impact on local industries. As a Fellow Esther feels privileged help identify emerging leaders that will benefit from custom leadership development with the foundational objective of promoting peace through understanding. Esther holds a BSc from BYU, and a Master’s Degree in International Management (iMBA) with honors in Political Science and Language from The Thunderbird School of Global Management. Esther has many IEEE technical publications, and magazine publications.
