Brit Fitzpatrick has more than 10 years of marketing, technology, and entrepreneurial experience. In 2013, she founded MentorMe, one of the first SaaS mentoring startups, which provided mentoring program management software for more than 100 K-12 mentoring programs throughout the United States. Since then, Brit has raised $2.5MM in both equity-based and non-dilutive funding through her entrepreneurial ventures.
She’s currently Chief of Staff at Stark — which streamlines accessibility compliance and collaboration to make software products more inclusive. Previously, Brit launched and led a regional entrepreneurship hub in Greater Cincinnati and helped form an incubator for Black-owned small businesses in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
Brit’s a proud honors graduate of Howard University, a Venture Partner at REFASHIOND Ventures, and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Techstars.
She has spoken on inclusive ecosystem building, the role of network capital in entrepreneurial communities, and tech-driven social innovation at more than 30 events and conferences across the U.S. — including INBIA, Dreamforce, TEDx, and White House Demo Day. She has also been profiled as an entrepreneur and community builder in national media outlets — including GOOD Magazine, Essence, Inc., Business Insider, and FastCompany.
